Following a few years hiatus from
the music scene, Diane Marie is now making her enthusiastic return with the release of her sure-to-be hit CD Rising Sun. Diane is a very successful singer/songwriter. At the height of her music career, she was a finalist in an international competition with one of her many compositions. She has changed her focus from the French to the English music scene recently and is very excited about exploring it further.
In 2008, she teamed up with famed producer Louis Lefaive to work on Rising Sun. Originally, Diane intended to release it for publishing, but her plans changed when an influential individual in the Canadian music industry gave her a call and told her that due to the excellent quality of her written material, coupled with her excellent vocals, she should seriously consider releasing as an artist.
Rising Sun is Diane’s opportunity to put herself out there as a performer, which she deeply loves to do. Publishing for television, films and other performers remains a dream and goal of Diane’s. She is very enthusiastic about any new opportunities and new endeavours that may present themselves along the way.
Bringing this wonderful CD to the public ear has been an amazing growth experience for Diane. Co-producing has been a definite high point for her. She enjoyed every minute in the studio!
